Upcoming TriVault Platform Updates

We are excited to announce some upcoming updates to the TriVault integrated platform. These updates are scheduled for 2/16/2019 around midnight, with an expected downtime of roughly 2 hours. The release will take 2 hours to deploy, during which time TriVault’s operations will be in maintenance mode; however, we are still able to log and monitor during this time and will have dedicated staff doing so. FCC’s Ajit Pai isn’t Going to Meet Congress About Phone-Tracking Scandal

The chairman is blaming government shutdown… Federal Communications Commission Chairman Ajit Pai has decided not to brief a Congressional committee on Monday about mobile carriers’ abilities to share their subscribers’ location data with third parties, even if those subscribers are not aware of the sharing or unwilling to share. TriVault February Updates Announced

The February update will primarily consist of updates to our EDR suite; however, the much-anticipated launch of the TriVault SOC Tool will be coming in February as well. All enterprise organizations that request access to the TriVault SOC Tool will be provided this access at absolutely no cost. Individuals are not yet free to use this tool, unless sponsored by an organization. The TriVault security platform has multiple upcoming updates. TriVault is excited to announce these new releases, which will be installed automatically to the endpoint management platform on 1/1/2019 at 12:05AM. The updates and changes will take roughly 90 minutes to complete, at which time the platform will be unavailable. All agents will communicate with our old system at this time so we will still be able to monitor standard security.   Facebook has openly acknowledged to allowing other companies, including Spotify and Netflix, access to millions of people’s private messages. New Zealand (NZ) is now the latest country that has decided to block a proposal to use telecom equipment from China’s Huawei technology firm due to national security concerns. New Microsoft Update for Office Desktop on Windows

Microsoft has recently released a brand new update for Office Insiders. This includes new features, continued improvements, and even some fixes. The September update includes new features for Outlook, but not for Word, Excel, or PowerPoint, at least within this release (1810), but there were changed from 1809 (below). Windows 7 Security Updates Can Now Be Extended Beyond 2020

Support for Windows 7 was presumed to have ended in January of 2020 for consumers; however, Microsoft has decided to start offering paid extensions for Windows 7 security updates. They have also decided to extend the support cycle for businesses that leverage Windows 10 to help them make the shift to the newer operating system.
